The "PROJECT TOKHANG" is a practical and realistic means of accelerating the drive against illegal

drugs in affected barangays. This concept involves the conduct of house to house visitations to persuade
suspected illegal drug personalities to stop their illegal activities. "TOKHANG" is from Bisaya words,
"toktok" and "hangyo" which means to knock and request.
There are five stages in the conduct of this project, namely:
1. Collection and Validation of Information Stage;
2. Coordination Stage;
3. House to House Visitation Stage;
4. Processing and Documentation Stage; and
5. Monitoring and Evaluation Stage.
This project also encourages drug offender to voluntarily submit themselves for drug clearing which
involves but limited to the following:
1. The assessment to be conducted by the BADAC/MADAC and local police station;
2. The signing of affidavit of undertaking and oath taking to manifest his/her commitment to change and to
suport the government in fighting illegal drugs;
3. The documentation process which involves interview, picture taking and taking of finger prints;
4. The drug testing and rehabilitation process.
5. The participation in Anti-illegal Drug Advocacy project to be formulated by the BADAC/MADAC
which will supervised by the PNP.
No case will be filed against the volunteers (surrenderees) unless they will once again involve themselves
into illegal drugs and caught by our law enforces.
