    Prepositions

    In

    He wakes up verty early in the morning.

    I do not like walking the dog in Winter.

    On

    I like going to the park on Sundays.

    They were at the restaurant on Friday.

    At

    We have tea at five o·clock.

    What did you do at the Weekend?

    Upon

    The bird gad perched upon the branch.

    Bill was eating with his elbows upon the table.

    Over

    The helicopter flew over the demostration.

    I put a blanket over my cat.

    Under

    The keys are under the table.

    There is a cat under the bed.

    Into

    They went into the bus.

    I come into my house.


    Between

    The women were born between 1892 and 1956.

    There is no división of power between the two men.

    Along

    There qere beautiful paintings all along the corridior.

    We went for a walk along the beach.

    Through

    We walked through the arch into the garden.

    The thain went through the tunnel.

    Across

    The prairie dogs ran across the plain.

    The ballet dancer moved across the stage with fluent motions.
