Established in 1994 with Headquarters in Dubai - UAE, Regency Group have diversi- fied business operations in Retail, F&B ventures, Hospitality, Healthcare, Documents Clearing, Imports & Exports, Property Management and Education. Grand Hypermarkets is the flagship brand of the group with 64 retail outlets serving more than 275,000+ customer daily and employing more than 6200 staff members across the Middle East. The Group have own office and outlets in UAE, Kuwait, Oman, India, Srilanka, China, Bangladesh, Thailand, Azerbaijan and Turkey. Mr. Ameen is a qualified Computer Engineer from the Southern Indian state of Kerala. He also holds a Ph.D. in Retail Business Management, awarded by the International University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Dr. Chelat had served as a Computer Science Lec- turer at the SSM Polytechnic College -Tirur Kerala in his twenties. He was also deput- ed to act as a Director for the Kerala State Government Initiative SIDCO (Kerala Small Industries Development Corporation Limited) from 2001-2006. Mr. Ameen is also the Managing Director and Partner for Anappadikkal Trading Pvt. Ltd Mumbai India; and Royal Exports Co. Ltd in Yiwu China. Both these companies are established trading and export houses and currently export goods worth more than AED 60 Million to the United Arab Emirates. Mr. Ameen is also the Founder and CEO of ZedEye Labs; an analytical think tank based in Bangalore, the IT capital of India. This company provided data analytics and data driven solutions to several firms in UAE and the Middle East. Married with 2 children, Mr. Ameen is a loving family man as he is for his dynamic commercial intellect.
