The t-test

- is the name of a statistical technique which examines whether the two group of scores have
significantly different means.

- comparing two samples of unrelated and uncorrelated scores.

UNRELATED T-TEST

 used to compare the mean excited of samples on a single variable/used with score data.
 It tells whether the two means are statistically significant or not.
 Combines the variation in the two sets of scores to estimate standard error.

T - VALUE

 The number of errors that the means a part by.


 Significance of t-value : may be obtained from tables or computer output which gives
significance levels.
