afterschool practice and weekend tournaments where we received multiple victories at all levels.

parent-student relationships to ensure the highest quality education to meet the child’s needs.

Fourth Grade Math & Science Teacher
• I differentiated instruction using small groups and individualized lessons for inclusion, gifted, and on-level students.
I was responsible for creating daily math and science lesson plans and objectives based on Texas Essential
Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). I served as the fourth grade Team Leader and on the following committees: Math PLC,
Courtesy Club, CATCH Program, Campus Leadership PLC, SBDM, and Cornerstone Grant Foundation. I also was the
co-sponsor for Student Council. I participated in on-going professional development for math, science, classroom
management, gifted and talented, and special education. I engaged students with a variety of technology, including
the Promethean Board, document camera, laptop computers, iPod touches, ActivExpressions, and Kindle Fires. I
built positive classroom-to-home connections with parents through my class website, emails, conferences, weekly
newsletters, and phone calls.
