from the general ledger after all accounts in the ledger have
been added.

•To prove the equality of debit credit

•To serve as the basis for making draft financial statement

Heading- has 3 lines intended for the name of the business,


title, and the date of the trial balance.

Body- presents the different account titles and their balances.
