Exit Ticket: Circle of Viewpoints – A routine of exploring diverse perspectives

Task:
Individual roles will be assigned to the students. The following are the roles:

ROLE:
1. Poor farmer living in a remote village in Bangladesh
2. Representative of a Global Climate Summit from USA
3. Government representative from Bangladesh
4. Doctor working in Gurgaon Hospital
5. Greta Thunberg protesting against Climate Change

Each student will answer the following guiding questions with justification of their stand as per
the assigned role on Wizemen Classes - Forums:

1. What role does fossil fuel play in your life in terms of the standard of living which you
presently enjoy?

2. Do you see any conflict between your ability to enjoy your standard of living with other
people’s ability to enjoy their standard of living by using fossil fuels? In other words, does the
use of fossil fuels benefit some and harm others?

3. What is the solution to the dilemma of fossil fuels so that all the stakeholders are equally
satisfied? Is this feasible or possible? Why or why not?

Your responses must be in the form of two elaborate points (approx. 250 words) on the following
guidelines:
a. How does it look from different point in space and different points in time?
b. Who is directly affected by it?
c. Who is involved?
d. Who might care (Stakeholders)?
