EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This Summer Internship report is about, “Effectiveness of Talent Development Plans at


Aditya Birla UltraTech.”

It signifies the study of the existing talent development tracking process, analyses individual
specific development plans, interacts with the respective employees where ever is required.
Further adding by providing recommendations and findings to improve quality of development
plans and suggest a suitable tracking mechanism.

The ABG (Aditya Birla Group) is using talent Management 3.0 Framework which is used in
order to get marvelous results, as well as to get the best out of every employee.

The Talent Framework acts as a tool for analyzing the need to give training to the talented
employees. The Talent framework at ABG provides various kinds of trainings which helps the
employee to grow at a great scale.

The training needs are identified on Poornata. There are 2 KEY Parameters which are very
crucial while selecting Talent: Performance and Potential

The Overall Gist of findings in this dissertation report is that majority of the people are in the
category of 5-10 years and above are working in the company. The employees are well off with
the policies and procedures of the talent management.

The employees are aware about the individual development plan which helps in enhancing their
skill sets, increase of confidence and an overall change in their personality takes place post
trainings.
