To whom it may concern:

Greetings!

In fulfilment of our OrCom 145: Psycholinguistics course, we are conducting a

quasi experiment to prove the phonemic restoration effect. We are hereby
seeking your consent to listen to various audio recordings and answer a few
guide questions afterwards.

The procedure and interview takes around 30 minutes and is very informal.
We are simply trying to distinguish whether or not people replace missing
phonemes. Your responses to the questions will be videoed and recorded.
There is no compensation for participating in this study. However, your
participation will be a valuable addition to our study and findings could lead to
a deeper appreciation for such an underrated field such as Psycholinguistics.

If you are willing to participate please suggest a day and time that suits you
and we will do our best to be available. If you have any questions please do
not hesitate to ask.
