Title: Electrical Systems Engineer

Duration: Long term Contract

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 5 years’ experience in software algorithm development and sensors/actuators,

minimum of 2 years of automotive engineering experience.

Skills:

RF communications experience.

Experience with model based development.

Work with suppliers and various client groups to develop new electrical components, such as
Ignition Coils, Spark Plugs, Cam and Crank Sensors from concept to production.

Responsible for the total administration of the project-Work with suppliers to develop component
level DVP&R.

Continuously review progress of DV/PV testing.

Address failures by defining root cause and corrective action

Work with suppliers to develop component Timing that meets client engine/vehicles Master Timing
and maintain it throughout the project

Work with suppliers to timely develop, procure and deliver prototype parts to support
engine/vehicle builds

Develop system DFMEA & DVPR. Conduct engine/vehicle level testing

Working knowledge of engine operation

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Proficient in the use of basic PC software (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)

Highly motivated, self-directed, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects

Will be required to drive a company car. A valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving
record.

Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
