Good Evening, ladies and gentlemen!

Why don`t we make this evening not just wonderful, but a night full of new experiences.
We`ve anticipated long enough for this day to come, but anticipation comes with
painstaking efforts, sleepless nights, and wishful thoughts now come into reality.
Tonight, we shall witness the 2017 Oath Taking Ceremony of our Publication Staff of
The Nation Builder, the official publication of the Cebu Technological University – Main
Campus.
Before we begin, let me remind you to turn your cell phones to silent mode and be courteous by
refraining from talking aloud. During the other parts of the program, I encourage you to express
your pleasure by applauding or clapping.
To formally start, let us all rise for the invocation, and please remain standing for the
singing of the National Anthem followed by the CTU Hymn, to be led by Maritchel Alipogpog,
Rabbi Igot, and Angelo Amar.

We are very lucky indeed that with us today to grace and to witness our occasion are the
dignitaries in our university, our University President, Dr. Januario Flores, Campus Director, Dr.
Igot ….
And now to give us the welcome address, may I call on our Associate News Editor, Elnar
