Statement of the Problem

This study examines the relationship of ethical climate on job satisfaction, organizational

commitment, and employee turnover intention in selected standard class hotels in the central

Philippines. Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the ethical climate of the selected standard class hotels as perceived by their

employees when they will be grouped according to age, sex, length of service, and when

taken collectively?

2. What is the perceived level of job satisfaction of employees of selected standard class

hotels when they will be grouped according to age, sex, length of service, and when taken

collectively?

3. What is the perceived level of organizational commitment of employees of selected

standard class hotels when they will be grouped according to age, sex, length of service,

and when taken collectively?

4. Is there a significant relationship between (a) perceived hotel ethical climate and

employee job satisfaction, (b) perceived ethical climate and organizational commitment,

and (c) employee job satisfaction and organizational commitment?
