FOR COSMOLOGY in reference to the FLRW equation

3. (5) Dead easy five points, but it's important foreshadowing. We defined Eulerian
coordinates as those traveling with the “particles” (galaxies?) in their perturbed
locations. Now “comoving” r is squidgy and distorts with time (yikes!):
x=a(t)r(t)
a. (2) Take the derivative and identify each term. That is, rewrite one of them to
explicitly show that H is involved, and explain what the other term means.
b. (3) Take the derivative again and show that the acceleration has three terms. By
rearrangement, show that one term is proportional to a¨ /a which we will see next
week is just the background acceleration term. It's the other terms which will lead to
linear growth!
