- After I graduated high school, because I got interested in most of the newer buildings
that were build how there structured.

-Out in construction sites to build the houses and things to get dirty.

11. Which accredited school did you go to first attend, and what was your degree?
-The school I went to first is The University of Texas at Austin.
- The degree i need to be a civil engineer is a bachelor's degree and a licensed/ certificate
of a state licensed.

12. Describe in detail three of the courses that you took which are closely related to your
current career.
​ ​CIVIL ENGINEERING 
-Had to take a civil engineering class because I needed to learn how to start to be a civil
engineer I have to learn how to build houses, learning landscapes, and how many different
designs you can use to build a house.
- I had to take another course and it was introductory thermodynamics, so i could learn what
heating systems it needed ,and what chemical compounds it needed and what chemicals it
could us because it would harm you.
- The last class I took was structural/earthquake because I needed to know if we could build
it on that spot or not. Because it might have a problem on that landmark because it might have a
problem.

13. Describe the two courses that you considered most challenging.
-The two courses that was the hardest was the Civil Engineering and the hardest of them all
was the introductory thermodynamics.

15. Regarding the two most challenging courses how did you persevere?
- I did it by getting help to understanding it by getting tutors and I had my own thing i
listened to music and drawn to help maintain my stress and aggravation. Plus i did one
course at a time I worry about the course i'm in then i worry later about the other one.

18. What licenses do you have and what were the exams required to receive those licenses?

-I needed a PE license and the exams I had to take to get that license was the FE exam,
then i had to take the PE license. But I had to pass the FE license first before I take the
PE exam.

19. How would your clients and co-workers describe you?


-My clients and co-workers would describe me generous,kind,funny,always hyper,and
always there to help someone no matter how big the problem is I’m always there to help
them with anything and everything.

20. What do you hope to accomplish at the conclusion of your career?


-I hope to accomplish at the end of my career is that I know how to build houses and know
many different structures of building types. But most of all I’m gonna know how to know all the
materials to use for a house and what a house needs to stand up or hold itself. And to tell
younger people how to build a house,use many different tools,and to see what materials are
made to build houses and what parts the houses are made of.

21. Why should a high school student consider a career in your field? What important
contribution(s) can't they make?
-Engineers are not just people, they help other people. People might not know what we but
we help with a lot of things like:
● Building houses- we build the houses you live in so you can get out of the
stormy,cold,icy weather. And so you have somewhere to go and sleep.
● Chemical engineers- They do with medicine and other chemicals that are safe to use.
Plus they can tell us when some of the chemicals are flammiable,and toxic to us if we
breath it in or it gets in your eyes.
● Mechanical- They help with your mechanical problems like your cars and help produce
many new mechanical machines.

CONCLUSION
1.You described a career related to civil engineering and/or architecture. Is this the career field
that you are currently most interested in at this stage in your life?
-No i want to be either a(n) NFL player or and automotive engineer.

2. Rank and describe the three most important characteristics that you value in choosing a
post-secondary school.

-MY favorite school I want to go to OSU because they have the best schooling and they have
the greatest football team.(60)
-My second favorite is Notre Dame because they are really good football team and has a nice
schooling.(40)
-My third school is Florida state because I don’t have any other colleges I would go too.Plus
they have a goodish football team.(26)

3. Rank the following in order of importance to you regarding a career: job satisfaction; salary;
making a difference; level of responsibility; titles; benefits; hours; co-workers; supervisors.
1. Job satisfaction is a rough sport to play and most of the players are really kind and nice.
2. The salary is $860,000. Rookies make for a year is 435,000.
3. Making a difference is I want to show the world no matter what gender you are girl, or
boy no matter what girls can do the same if they put their minds to it and commit to it. No
matter how hard it gets, just as long as they love the sport. Plus I want to show that girls
can do what guy can do in sports.
4. Level of responsibility is very high because you would have to be responsible to get on
practices and games on time. And worry about jerseys, pants, pads, helmet, and
shoulder pads.
5. Titles are quarterback, Lineman, running back, wide receiver, corner, safety, defensive
line, full back.
6. Benefits are you can get in the games for free, you get to let your family in for the least
amount of price, and you get new people.
7. Hours is 20 hours per week and 4 hours a day.
8. Co-workers are managers
9. Supervisers are the coaches and the head coaches
