 IV. CHARACTER DETAILS

● Rey has put the Skywalker saber back together. Her hair is similar to
TFA's due to her scenes with Leia. She also has Luke's X-Wing
helmet. She figures out the MacGuffin. ​(​MSW article​)

● Adam Driver/​Kylo Ren was in Jordan. He put his mask back together
with some red adhesive. He does not wear his mask in the second half
of the movie. When we pick up with Kylo's story in IX, he's still
struggling between the Light Side and the Dark Side. In addition to
this, he's also dealing with how to reconcile his feelings (=love) toward

● Leia​'s role as Resistance leader is being said to be of a similar in size

to her TFA role, perhaps even smaller, though her flashback scenes
make her seem more present in the film. No confirmation on whether

● Naomi Ackie's character is named ​Jannah and might be Finn's sister

● Keri Russel's character is a bounty hunter named ​Zorii with an unclear

TFA. They look like Star Wars-ish medieval weapons. Some of them

 V. STORY BEATS & DETAILS

● The movie takes place a year after TLJ.

● The plot revolves around a race to find something. This MacGuffin is
said to be controversial yet delightful. The MacGuffin changes during
the movie, going from one thing which leads to something else, and
that it ends up revealing the big secret of the movie. It is supposed to
be something related to C3PO's old memory -that got erased in

● Old 4Chan Leak (Might be true, might be bullshit/a lucky guess, but
some parts of it are true, as MSW reported similar things a few weeks
after this leak): Palpatine is back but not how you'd expect. A copy of
his consciousness is held within an item (the MacGuffin). He
possessed a body and ruled as Snoke. When Snoke was cut in half,
the consciousness returned to the MacGuffin. (​ Old 4chan leak, unconfirmed but

● Kylo needs to destroy the MacGuffin to stop Palpatine from reclaiming

● The Knights of Ren return to Kylo with info on where they think the

● Kylo Ren has accumulated private armies and militias under The First
Order banner to strengthen his faction against any opposition to his
rule. Things get interesting for him when a threat from The Beyond
reveals itself, making him vulnerable. This threat serves as a
motivating factor for Kylo's and Rey's interactions as the story

● Kylo Ren goes to a dark, creepy castle-looking building. A monkey

● The castle/creepy domain is owned by an “ape man” who agrees to
help Kylo fix his mask and to activate a device that will take him and
his knights towards their goals. First they must “reforge” the mask and

● The Falcon has a pretty bad fire on this jungle world. It seems like the
Falcon makes it off the planet. However, this being the end of the

● The group goes to the ruins of a Death Star at some point in the

● There was a massive ship on the Cardington sheds set. The final

● A battle was filmed in the Cardington Sheds (previously used to film
scenes on Yavin IV), and is said to have a «zero gravity» factor, and

● The zero gravity battle is seemingly tied to the big tank of water
scenes that were being shot at Pinewood. It’s possible that the final

● Rumor: Matt Smith isn’t Palpatine reborn or rejuvenated but a dark

● Rumor: Eventually Kylo Ren kills Palpatine’s host body, then
Palpatine’s spirit jumps into Kylo Ren’s body. Kylo Ren is strong
enough to not lose total control of his mental faculties. He struggles to
take control of his body but subdues himself and his weapon while
beckoning Rey to kill him. Kylo does the right thing and becomes Ben
