Apple is the worldwide leader innovation leader for consumer electronics, computer
software and computer services. It is a global company that originated in California
USA. The founders of the company are the world-renowned Steve Jobs with Steve
Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. Apple is the second largest phone manufacturer in the
world after Samsung. In fact, Apple Inc is the largest IT Company in the world (by
revenue). It operates nearly 500 retail stores worldwide and employs nearly 120,000
people.

Strategies to increase the market share:

 Open more Official Apple stores- By opening, more official apple stores in
India people can get more access and easily access with the products. Rather
than ordering from different MBO’s & online stores.
 Increase in advertisement & promotion- There should be proper
advertisement and promotion activities to be done, not only for new products
for the already launched as well.
 Price structure can be re-built- They can reduce it because the price is
already high as compare to American market, but price can be that much
decreased so that it won’t affect Apple’s image.
