Christmas Vocabulary Charts
and Writing Tasks Guide
Print and laminate your vocabulary charts.
Once your charts have been printed (1 to a
page), place them in your word work area for
students to refer to when making words and writing
sentences.
The charts could also be used in writing
sessions such as descriptive writing. Ask children to
brainstorm adjectives to go with each noun in the
chart.
Print, laminate and cut up the Christmas
Writing Task cards and provide them for students
to work with the various Christmas themed words.
You will need to model how to play each activity
prior to students playing independently.
