Changes made in design to accommodate the hvac system

1. The floor heights of the 3rd unit were increased to accommodate the cassette ac along with the
false ceiling.
2. In the residential block we took the mirror image of the layout of the last unit, so that the
vertical shaft does not block the entrance, due to which we further had to shift the exhaust to
the side of the unit instead of the front.

Calculation for duct size:

Event Zone:

Area = 1291.67 sq. ft

1291.67/150 = 8.6 tonne

8.6*400= 3440 cfm

By using site given,

Main duct diameter = 22.93 inches using, 1200 as velocity

Similarly, the other dimensions for the ducts were calculated.
