Video Interview Questions

Instructions: Provide answers to the questions below. Please state the number of each
question to be discussed before proceeding to answer. Each answer should only be
15-20 seconds long all in one video with file name format: Last Name (ex. Dela Cruz,
Juan). Please follow the additional instructions as seen below as well.

Availability and Willingness to be a Volunteer

1. Can you commit, at maximum, 3 weeks for the 30th SEA Games? / Will you be
able to commit your time and effort during the official start of the Games up until the
end?
2. Are you willing to travel to different locations and clusters with a VIP/foreign
delegate to do specific tasks, possibly multiple times a day?

Dealing Foreign Delegates/VIPs (Choose and Answer 5 out of the 7 Questions)

3. How would establish good rapport with a VIP or foreign delegates? What
steps would you take to do so?
4. Have you dealt with foreign delegates or VIP before? If yes, please provide one
experience in a high-pressure situation in dealing with these individuals and how you
were able to deal with it.
5. What do you think is the most important trait when dealing with VIPs from
different neighboring countries?
6. What will you do if you see your VIP doing something illegal in the country?
Or not abiding by our rules and regulations?
7. Was there a time that you felt unappreciated in a work or volunteer setting?
How did you deal with it?
8. Imagine you are the leader of a team wherein one of the most committed
volunteers tells you they want to quit. What do you say?
9. You have 1 day to tour your VIP, where will you take him. How will you plan
your trip. Be as detailed as possible.

10. If you could choose which country or countries to be assigned to, which
country or countries would these be and why?
11. If you could choose any sport or sports that your VIP or delegates would be
affiliated with, which sport or sports would these be and why?
12. What brings you the most joy when it comes to volunteering?
13. What is it about you that you think makes you special? What can you bring to
the SEA Games Family if you are one of the chosen volunteers under International
Relations and Protocol?
14. Why shouldn’t we make you part of the SEA Games Family?
