THE BENEFITS OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Science and technology means different to our teachers and

to pupils like me. To our teachers, it means a way of discovering
new knowledge and new things to be shared to us, their pupils. To
us pupils, it is an enjoyable subject where we learn new knowledge
and new things from our teachers. We may define it differently but
we still have a similar idea of what science is, we learn new
knowledge from it.

Science and technology has many benefits to people. From

the time we were born up to this time, we have been helped by
science and technology. It offered solutions to the problems of the
people. In addition, we now live a comfortable life because it
makes life easier for us. When we need to cook our food, we now
have the electric stove or the rice cooker. When we feel hot, we
now have the electric fan or the air conditioner. When we want to
take a bath, we now have the pump well or the shower. We now
enjoy life because of science and technology. Unlike before, our
ancestors do not have all of these.

Science and technology is also beneficial to the government

and our environment. Roads, jeeps, tricycles, airplanes, trains,
electricity and cars are all products of science and technology
that contribute to our economy. During disasters, science and
technology also helps us to be prepared. We can hear about
typhoons or flashfloods through the radio or television. Moreover,
we also learned in our science class how to do the 5Rs, Reduce,
Reuse, Recycle, Repair and Recover.

Truly, science and technology is beneficial to people. It

helped us to live a comfortable and easier life. It has become a
solution to our problems. It is really a big help to all of us.
