CONCLUSION

Aim of this task was to study the effect of different forces on the bending moment in
the beam , determine the modulus of elasticity ‘E’ by the method of bending and the
result show that there is a linear relationship between bending moment and shear
force. Experimental and theoretical bending moment shows perfect linear
relationship with applied load with very little difference in the values of bending
moment. We use two type of material , aluminium and copper in this experiment. In
conclusion, we can conclude, this experiment proves that the theory of bending
moments can be proved by an experiment conducted in the laboratory. Things that
affect the value of the bending moment can also be identified.
