Poles of a multivariable transfer function (TF) matrix G are the poles of individual

TFs in G

Zeros of a multivariable TF matrix G are the values of ‘s’ that makes det(G) =0

Example:

The poles are -1,-2,-3 and -4. This is a stable system.

The zeros are the values of s that makes det(g)=0. ie S= -2.5.
