SUBJECT: SCHEDULE OF THE CONDUCT OF THE DISTRICT MEET,
UNIT MEET, AND THE 2019 PALARONG PANLALAWIGAN
DATE: JULY 5, 2019
1. In consonance with the Republic Act No. 10588 otherwise known as “The Palarong.
Pambansa Act of 2013,” the field is hereby informed of the schedule on the conduct of sports
and other related activities for the School Year 2019,
2. The Cut-Off Year of the Age of Potential Athlete:
Elementary: January 1, 2007
Secondary: January 1, 2002
3. Ibis advised that the conduct of the District Meet for Elementary /Secondary will be
in the month of August, 2019 right after the first quarter examinations. All secondary schools
within one municipality are advised to conduct their own district meet to represent one
municipality during the conduct of the 2019 Unit Meet in the month September, 2019.

5. _ All Tournament Managers of the different sports event are advised to attend the
Coordination Meeting on July 19, 2019 8:00 o’clock in the morning to 5:00 p.m. at the
Division of Misamis Oriental Event and Talent Center (the old regional office) Velez, St.,
Cagayan de Oro City.
6. __ In preparation of the conduct of the Unit Meet and the 2019 Palarong Panlalawigan, A.
Seminar-Workshop on Sports Officiating will be conducted on Angust 1-3, 2019, at the
Division of Misamis Oriental Event and Talent Center (Old Regional Office) Velez St.,
Cagayan de Oro City.
7. There will be a Qualifying Eliminations of all measurable events (Athletics and
Swimming), including Arnis, Gymnastics, Taekwondo, Wushu and Wrestling on August
29-30, 2019 at the Pelaez Sports Center, Cagayan de Oro City. These identified events will
not be conducted anymore during the 2019 Palarong Panlalawigan, instead all identified
Winning Athletes and Coaches will have their advance training in the winning school after
the eliminations.
8. All coaches of all measurable events (athletics, swimming) including amis,
gymnastics, taekwondo, wushu, and wrestling are advised to submit the pertinent papers of
their athletes on September 23-27, 2019. A “No Papers No Play Policy” will be adopted
during the conduct of the Qualifying Eliminations and on the conduct of the 2019 Palarong,
Panlalawigan.
9, The schedule of the 2019 Palarong Panlalawigan will be on October 23-25, 2018 at
the Petaez Sports Center, Cagayan De Oro City and some identified playing venues in the
Province. To wit:

10. The submission of all pertinent papers of all qualified athletes, coaches and chaperons
will be on October 1-4, 2019. The Screening and Accreditation will start on October 3-11,
2019 at the Division of Misamis Oriental Event and Talent Center, (2nd Floor of the OldRepubli ofthe Philipines

11, The arrival of all athletes, coaches, chaperons and delegation officials will be on October
23, 2019 8:00 o’clock in the moming (8:00 a.m_). All concemed are advised to register before
the acommodation. A Solidarity Meeting of all coaches and delegation officials will follow
right after the registration at the quadrangle of the host school.
12. A simple Opening Program will be conducted on October 23, 2019 1:00 o’clock in
the afternoon at the venue identified by the host school. The Host School Principal is advised
to do necessary preparations for the success of the 2019 Palarong Panlalawigan. The actual
‘games will start right after the Opening Program.

athletes, coaches and chaperons.
15. All Unit Chairmen, Unit Sports Coordinators in Elementary and Secondary levels are
advised to submit the complete list of the delegation: qualified athletes, coaches, chaperons
and delegation officials for documentation on before October 1-4, 2019.
16. Attached is the List of the Composition of athletes, coaches, assistant coaches and
delegation officials by unit and the names of the Toumament Managers by event.
17. Travel and other incidental expenses of all tournament managers and support staff
during the coordination meeting shall be charged to local/school MOOE subject to the usual
accounting, auditing policies rules and regulations.
18. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
