Wind الرياح

هى كتلة من الهواء تتحرك موازية لسطح األرض تقريباً .وتتكون نتيجة اختالف فى الضغط الجوى حيث أنها تنتقل من
)1الرياح عامل هام فى تكوين األمواج ،وهى ظاهرة لها أهميتها الخاصة فى األشغال البحرية.
)2تفيد فى تصميم المنشآت العالية على السواحل البحرية مثل أبراج المنار وغيرها.
)4تفيد فى تحديد عدد األيام التى سيتم غلق الميناء فيها لحدوث النوات.

هى شكل يوضح العالقة بين سرعة الرياح ( )Velocityومدة تأثيرها ( )Periodواتجاهها (.)Direction
هو اإلتجاه الذى تهب منه الرياح ألطول فترة زمنية ممكنة طوال السنة بصرف النظر عن سرعتها.

Beaufort scale تقسيم بيوفورت
هو تقسيم الرياح حسب سرعتها إلى 13نوعا ً وفيه يعطى رقم ابتداء من الصفر حتى 12وفقا ً للسرعة التى تهب بها
الرياح كما هو موضح بالجدول.

wind direction.
Solution
% wind blowing at (345˚ – 014˚) [8.0 – 9.0 knot] = (300 ÷ 8510) × 100 = 3.53%
