Instructions:
1. Create a new blank document and save the file in your folder in with filename
“Referencing”.
2. Set the margin in all sides to normal. And type the following:

4. Highlight the paragraph by clicking three times. Change the line spacing to 2.0 and justify
the text to distribute evenly the text between margins.
5. Change the font style to Times New Roman and font size to 12.
6. Add new source by clicking References Tab. Click the Insert Citation arrow down and
select add new source. Style to APA. Input the following information.

7. Highlight the <insert citation 1> and add citation by selecting References Tab and click the
recently created source “Collis, J.”. Do the same to the succeeding citations two and three.
8. Add bibliography after the paragraph.
9. Insert bibliography by selecting References Tab. Click Bibliography and select
bibliography.
10. Insert Bibliography three times by selecting References Tab then Bibliography and select
insert bibliography.
11. Add header and footer. In header, add the following texts: “Computer Applications with
Lab”. Change the font style to Times New Roman and change the font size to 12 and
italicize the text. In footer, add your Full name (Last name, First name, Middle initial).
Also add paging by selecting Insert Tab. Under Header and Footer group, select page
number and click Bottom of Page. Then, select Plain Number 3.
12. You are done. Save your work.
