1. A candidate must secure minimum pass marks stipu-ated in all the courses offered in each Semester. Pass
marks for each (Credited) theory and practical course [Honours/Core, Allied′Subsidiary and Foundation
Course (ifC「edited)] shall be 40% ofthe total marks. Pass marks for Non-Credit courses shali be 33% ofthe
totaI marks in each course.
2. A candidate fa"s to secure at Ieast 40% marks in any Credited Course and 33% marks in any Non-Credited
Course ofa Semester Examination shall be declared to have fa“ed in that cour§e. The candidate may appear
as a Back Candidate in that Course in the next corresponding semes`er examination. He/She shall have
th「ee consecutive chances to pass in that course starting with the first chance.
