Adventures of Tom Sawyer

The whole story was splendid. I did not expect that a novel written in the mid 1800’s would be
such entertaining. I appreciate how the author brought my imagination back in year 1876. The “The
Adventures o f Tom Sawyer” is a classic novel written by Mark Twain. It is funny and it brings back a lot
of memories from my childhood. It is hilarious how Mark Twain characterized Tom Sawyer, a young boy
who hungers for crazy adventures such as imitating Robin Hood with his friends, wanting to be a pirate
and go for treasure hunting. Also, I enjoyed every single part where Huckleberry Finn, Tom’s best friend
appeared in the story.

Overall, after reading the story, I realized that it is not a distressful world after all. In a walk of
life, childhood is the best season to explore, make life colorful and feel free. But be careful, because
sometimes freedom can be dangerous too, just like how Tom’s life put in danger. I salute Mark Twain
and became one of my favorite authors because his wise words widened my perspective in life as a
student. Also, the lessons I learned in the story truly touched my heart and I will treasure them forever.
However, I exerted effort understanding some unfamiliar English words considering it is a classic
literature. Nevertheless, it is an excellent work of Mark Twain and I highly recommend it to everyone
who enjoys juvenile stories.
