Our children ministry gets together 1 weekend after/before church. They go through
training stuff. Safety, security, background checks, etc. Vision for the year
Hospitality (ushers & welcome desk, deacon, offering counters, pre-service prayer)
all get together different day of the year. Great big push about where our church
has been the last year and where we're going in the new year. Big presentation and
break off into smaller groups.

Mandatory, but if they can't make it then meh.
