Frankenstein

Written by Mary Shelley published in 1818

Through this work, Mary tells the story of the young Victor Frankenstein, who is obsessed
with discovering the principle of life and who in turn the main character of the work.
Mary Shelley manages to show through this work Victor’s ability to create life through
electricy, taking a step beyond his limiting career.
Frankenstein was written as a product of a challenge put by the renowned author Lord Byron
to Mary when she was only seventeen years old, but despite this she was able to carry out her
work so that it become one of the most recognized and important books.
