O tell of His might, O sing of His Thy bountiful care, what tongue can
grace, recite?
Whose robe is the light, whose It breathes in the air, it shines in the
canopy space, light;
His chariots of wrath the deep It streams from the hills, it descends
thunderclouds form, to the plain,
And dark is His path on the wings of And sweetly distills in the dew and
the storm. the rain.

This earth, with its store of wonders Frail children of dust, and feeble as
untold, frail,
Almighty, Thy power hath founded In Thee do we trust, nor find Thee to
of old; fail;
Established it fast by a changeless Thy mercies how tender, how firm to
decree, the end,
And round it hath cast, like a mantle, Our maker, defender, redeemer, and
the sea. friend.

While angels delight to worship Thee
above,
The humbler creation, though feeble

praise.
