Instructions for correction of information in respect of Part-I Candidates.


In case of Part-I Examination on-line system of application submission, correction of some
information can be made from the College end. The corresponding menu for such function has
been provided in the college domain. The steps are as follows:

Instructions for the Students:

1. After submitting the form take a print-out, first ensure that all information is correct. If
any error found, make corrections and submit it to the college and request your college
for the correction.
2. Photo/signature printed is wrong paste your photo and submit the form to your college
and request the college for the correction. If the signature is wrong, mention the fact to
the college and request to for correction.

Instruction for the Colleges:

1. In case of mistake found in candidate’s/guardian’s Name or in Subject Code/s or in


Compulsory Language or in candidate’s Gender code.
2. Check the validity of the correction/s made by the candidate and, if satisfied, make the
corresponding corrections online before approval of the application of the candidate.
3. Select the menu ‘Part-I Data Correction’ in college domain and make the necessary
corrections.
4. Subject correction must be supported by the relevant regulations and prior permission of
the Registrar of the University of Calcutta.
5. For correction of Gender code, please contact Registration Section of this University in
such case the registration number of the candidate will be changed.
6. In case of Photo/signature printed is wrong, please check once again the application form
of the candidate in the on-line system. If the photo/ signature of the candidate found
correct nothing to be done. Otherwise, submit the copy of the form duly submitted by the
candidate with pasted photo and signature to the University within the stipulated data.
