COMPUTER LAB

(Rules & Regulations)

 Members cannot download/install any type of software/songs/movies etc. in laptops. They

can only request eLibrary staff to download software/documentaries/educational videos

etc.

 Members can request the eLibrary staff to copy their data in USB because data saved by

members will be removed weekly (e.g. every Monday).

 Members are not allowed to move lab equipment and/or cables, etc. In case of such activity

or damage/theft/loss, members will be responsible and have to bear the expense(s).

 If laptop is idle for more than 15 minutes, then it will be issued to another member. eLibrary

staff will be not be responsible for any loss or unsaved data. It is your duty to save it

regularly.

 The computer lab is solely provided for educational & research activities. Members are

restricted to use computer lab for any others reasons.

 Computer lab staff will monitor the laptop usage/history any time.

 In case of any issue/problem that arise with your laptop/equipment while using then inform

the supervising staff because you don’t have the right to repair it.

 No food or drink is allowed in the computer lab.

 Mobile phones must be on silent mode.

 Use of computer lab for chat rooms, illegal activities (e.g. hacking, cracking, spamming,

scamming, crypto currencies, etc.), adultery material, etc. or any action that may lead to

criminal activity/charges is strictly restricted. If found guilty, then eLibrary membership will

be cancelled straight away with any warning.

 Clean up your table before leaving (pick up trash, make sure you are taking all your

belongings with you) because sole responsibility relies upon you. Push your chair under

the table and properly shutdown the laptop before leaving.
