Subject: Regarding Ph.D. increment as per as discussion with HR Director at the time of
interview.
Dear Maam,
This application is to kindly inform you that I have awarded with the Ph.D. degree from Premium
Institute IIT Roorkee recently. At the time of interview i.e. 2 August 2018, you have assured
me to provide the Ph.D. increment after completion of degree. (Ph.D. Degree is enclosed
herewith as Annexure1).
I have worked for five years regularly for completing the Ph.D Degree. One of my Ph.D.
supervisor “Jacob Odgaard” is renowned Professor of Civil Engineering at Iowa University, USA.
I have published six SCI papers during the course of Ph.D. Furthermore, I have published
two research books with the Lambert publication Germany and one book chapter in
Springer Switzerland. In addition, I have attended many international conferences (Enclosed as
Annexure 2).
Research Publications is very important criteria for NBA certification. Unfortunately, most
of the Civil Engineering faculties don’t have good publications, except Dr. Rajni Saggu and
Dr. Tinku Biswas.
I have discussed this matter with you on 1 November 2018. You have assured me to provide
the Ph.D. increment within the week time.
I am currently receiving the salary of Rs 75000 per month. As per as my credential, the salary
of Rs 1.1 Lakh would be appropriate.
I have few lucrative offers for the same post. Please take the necessary step and provided me the
necessary increment.
