Math is fun and easy

That is what they say

Just like taking a walk in the park

Or eating a piece of cake

But the others say math is hard

Just like climbing a steep, rocky mountain

Searching for something you don’t know

Wondering its importance and how much it values

But I say math is rewarding

Even after crawling through enormous numbers

And climbing over confusing symbols

Even letters of the alphabet

Just like a direct variation

The more you learn, the more you reach the top

Don’t fear to fall like indirect variation

You’ll just have more space for improvement

And sometimes it’s better to have joint variation

To share your journey with

Knowing each other’s strength and weaknesses

Helping one another to reach the summit

And after just a few more paces,

Finally, you’ll have a stunning view

Of the beautiful orange sunset

A great reward you will never forget.
