Concert Make-up Assignement

In the rare event that a student has to miss a performance, a make-up assignment may be

completed to receive credit. The assignment will require students to present their portion of the

concert on stage, in concert dress, for Mr. Cressall and student leadership. Completion of the

following steps with precision will allow you to receive full credit.

1. Mr. Cressall must be informed of a concert absence at least one month before the concert

date. (unless circumstances do not allow)

2. Once the concert has passed you have one week to arrange your make-up performance

with Mr. Cressall and your section leader.

3. Make-up performances must be presented within two weeks after the original

performance date.

4. Students must dress in full concert attire and will perform in the auditorium.

5. You will perform your entire portion of the concert, without aid, from beginning to end.

You will be graded on technique, musicality, intonation, tone, and rhythmic accuracy.
