CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT RULES:

START TIME: Competition starts at 6:00 P.M.

ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is $5.00 and must be paid upon submission of this Entry Form.

LOCATION: The staging area for the corn hole tournament will be determined and provided to contestants prior to
the event.

PRIZES: Top Prize: $50. Second Place: $35.00. Third Place: $20.00. Photos of the winners will be shared on Social
Media and on the Halloweentown Web Site.

COMPETITION AND RULES: All games will be single play with the rules as follows:
 Boards are positioned 27’ from the front edge to the front edge of the boards.
 Each player will have 4 bags and will alternate pitching bags until each player has pitched all four of his/her
bags.
 The players may not cross the front of the board.
 The player who scored in the preceding frame shall pitch first in the next frame. If neither player scores, the
player who pitched first in the preceding frame shall retain first pitch in the next frame.
 Points will be scored using the “cancellation” method. In cancellation scoring, the points of one player
cancel out the points of their opponent. Using this method, only one player can score in each inning.
 Any bag which comes to rest anywhere on top of the board is worth one (1) point excluding a foul bag. A
foul bag refers to any bag that made contact with the ground before coming to rest on the board.
 Any bag which is thrown through the hole or knocked through the hole by another bag is worth three (3)
points.
 The game shall be played to the predetermined number of twenty-one (21) points. The first player to reach
(or exceed) that amount is the winner.
