Biomedical Engineering also called bioengineers is a science that studies the

principles of engineering applied to biology and medicine for health services.

The proper selection of materials is critical in all areas of engineering design. Materials
come from natural resources. They are made up of the elements found on the periodic table.
Some different types of materials include metals, plastics, composites, ceramics, and textiles.
The properties of these materials are usually divided into three different categories: physical
properties, mechanical properties, and chemical properties. Physical properties include
colour, density, melting point, and water absorption rate. Mechanical properties include
strength, ductility, and rigidity. Chemical properties include the composition of the material
or the corrosion resistance of the material.

There are many mechanisms at Biomedical Engineering such as

1.bioinstrumentation
2.biomechanism,
3.medical imaging,
4.rehabilitation engineering
5.cellular, tissue, and genetic engineering

before the biomedical engineer do something work progress, they should make a design
process. There are 8 steps:
1. Identify the need or problem
2. Research problem 3. Develop possible solutions
4. Select the best possible solution
5. Construct a prototype
6. Test and evaluate
7. Communicate the solution
8. Redesign
