5. SUMMARY:

The student of St. Francis Academy have a field trip to Subic Bay Metro Politan
authority in Olongapo City. And Amy would need five hundred peso so she could join the field
trip.Five hundred pesos is not really a big amount of money. She could ask his mother or father
for it anytime.Her mom is a high school principal is would her mother allow he to join the trip.
Now she has a problem with her mom. Her mom has been nogging her to clean the room, study
and sweep the backyard .She wanted to limit her watching television, playing with her
cellphone and going out with friend which according to her mom, has a back effect on her
report card.

MORAL LESSON: Being industrious has its own reward.

Summary:

In the high mountain of Negros Occidental lives a very young girl named
Rona Mahilom .
In the school, teacher spoke well of Rona. One day , her parents went to
the next village which was for from their house.
Late in the evening, as the children were fast asleep inside their wooden
hut, a cat over turned the oil lamp and it caught fire.
Rona saved her five brothers and sisters. After saving her sisters and
brothers, Rona grabbed a plastic pail and run to the nearby stream to fetch water
returned to the burning house to put off the flame she said this several times
until she finally collapsed because of tiredness. When she woke up, Rona was in
the Hospital receiving treatment for her burns. Her bravery made her very popular.
The mayor of Manila, Alfredo Lim , gave her one million pesos. Rona’s future looks
bright and her dream to become a teacher someday will surely come true.

Plot:
Late in the evening , as the children were fast asleep inside their wooden hut,
a cat over turned the oil lamp and it caught fire. The blazing oil spilled into Rona’s
bed and splattered the floor. Rona jump up when her shoulder-length hair got on
fire. The fire caught her clothes. She was about to run outside the door when she
saw her brother’s and sisters still sleeping. And she saved her brothers and sisters
as fast as she could.

Moral Lesson:
If you want them to make good things on you, make good things on them
first.

Conflict:When Mang Estong was humiliated by the driver of the owner of the
house they occupied. The man was talking to him in bullying,high-flown terms.

Summary: This is the story of Mang Estong and his family who has humiliated
by the driver of the owner of the land that their house occupied .tThat is the
reason why Mang Estong utter bad words against that man because he could
not believe at first it could happened, that one man could drive another from
a shelter. At noon time when Mang Estong was fairly exhausted , after eating
lunch he spread tarpaulin and slept on the ground. Melkor tasked by his
mother to continue to work for the roof . While working, he felt the burning
of his scalp and skin but, he could stand it. Several times he hit his finger by
hammer then, he know what his father felt.When his father stood up and
he already finish the roof, Melkor utter the same bad words against the
driver. His father now feeling better after siesta said ,” It is alright to be angry
and to hate but maybe it is better to forgive.”Melkor’s

PLOT:
Exposition
The water-clock marks the hour in the Tangchungz, in the tower of the Great Bell:
now the mallet is lifted to smite the lips of the metal monster-the vast lips inscribed with
Buddhist texts from the sacred Fa-hwa-king, from the chapters of the holy Ling-Yen-King!
Hear the great bell responding!-how mightly her voice, though tonguless! KO-NGAI! All the
little dragons on the high-tilted eaves of the green roofs shiver to the tips of their gilded
tails under that deep wave of sound; all tha porcelain gargoylest remble on their carven
perches; all the hundred little bells of the pagodas quiver with desire to speak. KO-NGAI-
all the green -and-gold tiles of the temple are vibrating; the wooden goldfish above them
are writing against the sky; the uplifted finger of Fo shakes high over the heads of the worshippers
through the blue fog of incense! KO-NGAI!- What a thunder tone was that! All the lacquered goblins on
the palace cornices wriggle their fire-coloured tounges! And after each huge shock, how wondrous the
multiple echo and the great golden moan,and,atlast,the sudden sibilant sobbing in the ears when the
immense tone faints away in broken whispers of silver ,as though a women should wispher ,
”HIAI!” Even so the great bell hath sounded everyday for well-nigh five hundred years-KO-NGAI:
first with stupendous clang then with immeasurable moan of gold
