We learned about Pyramids, pharaohs, hieroglyphies and much more. After learning about these toples, we had to do a project. We had to make a Informational poster about any tople we wanted and a model of the topic In pairs. Most children did pyramids or Egyptian pharaohs. As one of our activities we turned some of four class mates into mummies by wrapping someone in our group with a roll of tollet paper. Kelsey also planned an excursion for our class and the other year six class which we will talk about later. For our models we mainly made/ereated pyramids out of cake, cardboard, straws, paper mache, Lego and chocolate. Here is a picture of Amelia.R. and Georgia's pyramic, Tanisha and Amelia 8's sugar pyramid, Jacinta and Mackenzie's cake pyramid, Ella’s poster and creations, Jallla and Murphy's Mummy and poster, and Lucas as a mummy. In the museum, we looked at the whole place. Our main priority was the Egyptian room where we had to complete a worksheet based on the artefacts displayed. Later, we looked around the whole museum exploring all of the rooms. Afterwards we ate our recess and walked on North Terrace. We saw statues, buildings and visited the war memorial.
