Please no fixed gears or bikes with bullhorns or bar ends. Sanctioning Cyclocross Crusade races are sanctioned under the rules and regulations of the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA) and/or USA Cycling (USAC). All rules, regulation and codes of conduct set forth by ‘the sanctioning bodies will be in affect during the entirety of the event. Pre-Ride and Course Preview Due to the number of participants at our events and our tight schedule, we ask that you please respect ‘our pre-riding and course preview policy. Please do not pre-ride during or between races except during, the specified course preview times listed on the schedule, Please respectfully obey any official's or race staff requests, especially when it comes to clearing the course. Trans-gendered and Gender Non-Binary Athletes ‘The Cyclocross Crusade strives to provide a space where all people can participate competitively and fairly in the sport of cyclocross. We are committed to continuing to support people who have been marginalized within cycling, including women, people of color, sexual minorities, transgender and non- binary athletes. The Cyclocross Crusade explicitly supports the OBRA and USA Cycling Transgender. Athlete Participation policies, affirms the gender identities of all people and supports the inclusion of all athletes. Additionally, discrimination or harassment of any type on the basis of race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identification, or national origins a direct violation of the Cyclocross Crusade Code of Conduct and won't be tolerated at our events. ‘While our governing bodies and we, as an organization and a community, continue to grow and educate ourselves on how we can better include trans and non-binary athletes, we would like to offer a guide to. help people navigate the fields currently offered at our events. Fields: * Fields labeled as "Men's" or “Open' are open to all racers, including those that identify as male, female, or non-binary, Fields labeled as "Women’s" are open to racers that identify as women, and those for whom. ‘competition in the women's field is most athletically or socially appropriate as defined in the ‘Transgender Athlete Participation Policy. OBRA single race memberships are available onsite for $5.00, Season OBRA memberships are available online In order to encourage participation in these USA Cycling sanctioned events, The Cycloross Crusade will cover the cost of all one-day licenses required for participation in these USAC sanctioned events (both Saturday races). Any rider wishing to earn USA Cycling Results and Rankings points (particularly those interested in racing the Cyclocross National Championships) will need to purchase an annual license from USAC in order to be eligible to earn these points. Fees All series passes must be purchases at or before race #1, Adults - $35.00 pre-reg; $40.00 Day of; $15 Additional Race; $240 Series pass Juniors - $15.00 pre-reg; $15.00 Day of; $15 Additional Race; $80 Series pass Registration ‘You can find online registration links on the individual race flyers and on the schedule. Day-of-event registration will be available at each race venue. Save time by printing out a waiver (PDE) and completing it at home Refund Policy * Ifyou register onsite for a race or if you preregister and start a race, there is no refund available. Mechanical problems, missed starts, forgotten numbers, pre-race or in-race crashes, illness or lack of fitness, weather or even course conditions such as MUD, are not valid reasons for refunds. Under these circumstances, No Refunds Are Available, with No Exceptions. * Ifyou purchased a season pass, get injured and are unable to finish the series, we will charge you for the races in which you participated, and refund your fees for the remaining races. wvwrosserusade.comseries-nfo-ulas! as sngz019 Series Info & Rules ~ Cyclocross Crusade ‘= Ifyou pre-register for a race and are unable to start that race due to a legitimate injury and you advise Us in advance of the race, we will credit your entry fee for the next race, during the same race season. After the end of the race season, we will not refund race entry and will not carry credits over for the next season. Series Competition ‘The best seven out of nine placings in the series will count in the inal tally (drop the two races with the fewest points). Riders must race in atleast 3 races for the overall series. Series prizes will be awarded at the series end party. Points are awarded 18 deep in each race. Points schedule is ~ 26,20,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,65,4.3,2.1 Ties will be broken by OBRA's standard omnium tie-breaking rules (OBRA Rules) Incase of a tie on total points, the tie will be broken in favor of the rider who has: 1. The most first place finishes or, if still tied, the most second place finishes, etc., or if still tied; 2. The highest placing in the last race, or the race nearest the last race of the omnium in which at least one of the tied riders placed. Team Competiti n After the battles of the day are ended, the top 10 warriors across all categories, from each OBRA Sanctioned team (teams that have paid their annual dues to OBRA, listed here) will be tallied and assigned points, ‘The team with the lowest points for the series will be declared the victor ‘Teams with fewer than 10 warriors fielded in the battles of the day will be awarded 100 points per absentee warrior up to the total of 10 warriors. Warriors who place 100 or above in any category will be awarded 100 points. For example, if your team’s top placings are: 5 (Cat 1/2 M), 8 (Cat 1/2 W), 34 (Cat 2/3 W), 42 (Cat 2/3), 22 (Clydesdales), 15 (Masters Men 50+), 85 (SingleSpeed), and 102 (Cat 5 Men) and you did not field a ninth or tenth warrior in any category, your team would be awarded 511 points. The victorious team will be awarded the River City Bicycles Cyclocross Crusade Team Trophy.
