Story of Faith

I came to Jesus when I was 7 years old, I had been attending church for two years with my parents,
and they had come to the faith after a difficult path of mistaken attempts to find God in different
religions and philosophies. I suffered from nightmares often and even wet my bed at that age. One
day my parents attended a crusade with Pastor Juan Romero from the PTL club in Spanish. I was
by myself during the crusade playing with other children and parents didn’t notice when I heard
the invitation to come forward, I was kneeling on the dust making a little dust hill but as I heard
the preacher calling I suddenly stood up and joined the crowd.

I made a faith decision that day, those two situations I mentioned before, that made my child life
suffer, were gone. Both nightmares and bedwetting stopped, that same year I was invited by my
Sunday school teachers to become part of a project our pastor had started: Children’s Church. It
was a project were children played roles similar to an adult church. There I became a preacher
along with other three kids. I also became part of the children’s choir.

Being a child preacher made me start my ministry in I way no one expected, other churches began
to invite me, and they wanted to host “the smallest preacher in the world”. Child preaching ceased
when I was 12. But by the time I was 15, I became a youth department coordinator until I was 19
when my pastor sent me to represent Venezuela as a Missionary to America with TMI Int’l FL,
where I traveled throughout 32 states and visited hundreds of churches.

Nowadays I’m 41 years old and I have never stopped serving the Lord ever since, though I have
always kept a Tent-making job, and I expect to serve Him who saved me and keeps transforming
me until He comes to take me with him.

His salvation in me has occurred thanks to His work at the cross and His resurrection which I
believe in and have received by faith.
