Capital Punishment

I believe Capital Punishment, for heinous crimes should be allowed and that it is

morally acceptable. I do not see any wrong with just punishments being carried out to

criminals and monsters who believe they are above the law. Capital punishment is

mentioned in the Bible in Romans 13: 4 “For he is the minister of God to thee for good.

But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is

the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.” Letting a

person or a group of people live after they have committed horrendous crimes, is the

opposite of what justice is and if there is a lack of justice, how is letting criminals live

something moral. After World War 2 had ended, over 207 war criminals from Germany

and Japan were executed for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Everyone who

has had some semblance of education should know of what the Nazis had done to

those who they deemed unworthy and subhuman. Is it not unjust and immoral to let

these people live after all the suffering and torment they spread over innocent people?

Jesus also said “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.” So Biblically speaking, capital

punishment has already been justified. To bring it into the modern world, I still believe it

is ok to carry out onto criminals who are deemed fit for Capital punishment.
