Dr. Lori is a licensed Mental Health Counselor and Marriage & Family Therapist, with 20+ years’
experience working with individuals, couples and families. She spent 12 years as a guidance counselor in
Catholic schools, was commissioned by the Lay Pastoral Ministry Institute of the Diocese of St.
Petersburg, and has been involved in other ministries including grief and faith formation. She maintains
a private practice at Espiritu Santo and St. Matthew Catholic Churches and teaches graduate courses.
She is the author of “Toxic Mythology” and “31 Days, 31 Ways: Practical Psychology for the Frazzled
Faithful,” numerous articles, and is a regular contributor and American Thought Editor for USA Today
Magazine. Randall Woodard teaches and does research on the theology of marriage and family as part
of his work at Saint Leo University.
