Problem Statement

Minor Dilemmas
In terms of the Infrastructure and Logistics, India has a 20% of the total food
production wasted due to poor storage and transportation facilities. The distribution
channel that makes farm produce available to final consumer is pretty long involving
a large number of independent channel members.

Major Dilemma
Most of the western world fast food makers ignored Indian market due to such
distinct and diverse food preference and dietary habits. This is the biggest problem
of every fast food business would like to enter Indian market because they believe
that “cows are sacred” and most people don’t eat meat.
The dedication to adapt local cultures yielded McDonald to have a valuable
position in the country where they operate. India is different from other country
since they have a very diverse food consumption habits. Most of the people are
vegetarian and very traditional in their food preference and like to eat home cooked
food. Even if they offer Indian taste menu, How can McDonalds attract and gain
more customers with the aspects of tradition and culture and changing food habit of
Indian people?

Indian standard l image thus it
The new introduced Maharaja Mac which is composed of mutton patties. Is this
product formulation would meet consumers taste and preference since mutton is
compose of meat of lamb themselves are vegetarian but vegetarians definitely won’t
