Panalangin ng Bayan

P – Lumapit tayo sa Ama upang matulungan tayong makasunod sa

halimbawa ni Hesus na may puso sa mga taong lubos na
nangangailangan at walang sawang lumilingap sa mga nasasadlak:

T – Panginoon, pakinggan mo kami.

L – Maisagawa nawa ng Simbahan ang mga programang nakatutulong

sa mga mahihirap upang magkaroon sila ng pag-asa sa kanilang buhay.
Manalangin tayo: (T)

L – Pakinggan nawa ng ating pamahalaan ang mga hinaing ng mga

pinakamahirap na mamamayan at bigyan sila ng hanap-buhay,
edukasyon at tirahan. Manalangin tayo: (T)

L – Huwag nawa tayong mabulag sa karangyaan at luho na hatid ng

mundo upang matunghayan natin ang mga lubos na nangangailangan
bilang mga Lazaro na dapat damayan at tulungan.
Manalangin tayo : (T)

L – Maging tapat nawa ang mga guro sa kanilang tungkulin upang

mahubog ang mga kabataan ng may pusong nagmamahal sa
katotohanan, pagtulong sa kapwa, pag-ibig, at pangangalaga sa
sangnilikha. Manalangin tayo:(T)
L – Tulad ni Hesus sa daan sa Emmaus, nawa’y ang mga katuwang na
gumagabay sa mga kabataan ay akayin sila upang maging misyonero sa
iba’t ibang bahagi ng mundo. Manalangin tayo:(T)

L – Masalamin nawa sa pamumuhay ng mga Pilipinong manlalayag si

Kristo upang sa pamamagitan ng mayamang kultura maibahagi nila ang
pananampalataya sa kapwa nila Pilipino, pati na rin sa mga dayuhan.
Manalangin tayo:(T)

P – Ama, iligtas mo at arugain ang iyong sambayanan sapagkat nasa

iyo ang lahat ng aming pag-asa. Hinihiling namin ito sa ngalan ni
Kristo na aming Panginoon.

Prayers of the Faithful

P – Despite notable progress in the world, especially in the field of

technology, there are still countless Lazaruses in our midst because of
our selfishness and unconcern.
We raise our petitions for the needy and those who suffer. We also pray
for Filipino seafarers and their families:

R – Lord, help us to share.

C – May the Church continue to preach the Good News of Christ and
proclaim with all the courage the beatitude of the poor and the woes of
the rich and the satisfied. We pray: (R)

C – May the Lazaruses among us - the needy, the downtrodden, the sick
the lonely, the jobless - find comfort in the Lord and open the hearts and
hands of generous people. We pray: (R)

C – May the Diveses among us - the rich – realize that there is more to
life than the accumulation and enjoyment of riches, and that it is by
giving and sharing that they may store inexhaustible treasures in heaven.
We pray: (R)
 C – For seafarers’ families, especially their children: may they be
protected and guided by the Lord and may they in turn support the
seafarers while they are onboard. We pray: (R)

C – May the Lord bless and prosper the ministry of priest, religious and
lay people of the Apostleship of the Sea who dedicate their services to
seafarers in ports throughout the world. We pray: (R)

C – May the Youth Ministers, like Jesus in the road to Emmaus journey
with the young people and lead them to be Missionary disciples to every
part of the Earth. We pray: (R)

C – May our departed ones, especially seafarers who lost their lives
through accidents and sickness, receive the prize of good life in the
company of Abraham, the angels and the saints in heaven. We pray: (R)

P – Father, hear our humble petitions. Open our hearts to the knocking
of our needy neighbors and so serve you through them. Receive also the
prayers we offer to you on this day of celebration and concern for
Filipino seafarers. We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
