Challenge: Choose three things that you like to do after school, in the
summertime, or in the winter. Write three paragraphs, one for each activity.
For Younger Students: Make this a whole-class activity. Begin with students brainstorming
what they like to do. Write their ideas on the board or on chart paper. Prepare a paragraph
form (similar to the one on this page) and make it poster size. With input from the students,
model how to use the information from the brainstormed list to write a paragraph.
