Sub : 1 year Apprenticeship Training for Graduate Engineers

Applications are invited from qualified Graduate Engineers, to undergo apprenticeship training for
the period of one year at HINDUSTAN AERONAUTICS LIMITED (HAL), Bangalore for the following
disciplines.

1 Aeronautical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering

2 Chemical Engineering
3 Civil Engineering
Computer Engineering /Computer Science & Technology / Computer Science &
4 Engineering / Information Science & Engineering / Information Technology
5 Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Electrical & Communication Engineering /Avionics Engineering / Electronics & Tele-
Communication Engineering / Industrial Electronics & Instrumentation / Tele-
6 Communication Engineering
Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Industrial Production Engineering /
7 Production Engineering Management
8 Metallurgy Engineering & Material Science Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:
i. Candidate should posses full time & regular degree course in Engineering in the above mentioned
branches \ Provisional Degree Certificate from a recognized university in India (Candidate must be
an Indian Nationalist).
ii. Candidates who have completed Three Years (3-Years) after obtaining degree certificate are not
eligible.
iii. Candidates who obtained provisional/Original Degree Certificates before 1stst Jan 2017 are not
eligible.
iv. Candidates who have undergone /undergoing / already registered for Apprenticeship Training
under the Apprenticeship Act elsewhere are not eligible.
v. Candidates with work experience of one or more years are not eligible.

General Instructions to the candidates

1. The applicants are advised to
a) Register as STUDENT in the apprenticeship portal www.mhrdnats.gov.in and must indicate the registration
number in the application form.
b) Fill the Marks
1) In case of fresher’s aggregate of 1 to 8 semester.
2) In case of lateral entry aggregate of 3 to 8 semester.
c) In case of CGPA, conversion of CGPA into percentage to be done as per concerned university norms.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants who called for the selection process.
3. The selected candidates will be paid stipend amount of Rs.4984/- as per govt. rules.
4. The shortlisted candidates will be informed through the HAL Web portal and SMS alert.
5. The candidates belonging to reserved category must produce valid Original Certificate issued by the
Government of India.
6. After completion of training, the Apprenticeship contract will be terminated and there will be no obligation on
the part of HAL to offer any employment.
7. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
8. Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of selection process.

Selection Process:

i. A common merit list based on the aggregate percentage scored in all semester will be prepared for each
core branch.
ii. Reservation for the selection of candidates will be made as per Govt. norms.
