STAND-3000
A stand that flips music for you!
What is the Stand-3000?
◦ A stand is used to hold music
◦ Made of a foot, body, and head
◦ It’s a normal stand, but with a page turner
on it
◦ Can only turn music that is connected
(Like a sheet music book)
◦ Double-desk model

3
How does it work?

◦ A motor will lift and turn a page

◦ The page will then be caught by a
“windshield wiper”
◦ Pedal underneath controls it

Takeaways
What went poorly: What went well:
◦ We didn’t actually ◦ Measurements of
make it stand were simple
◦ Couldn’t do testing ◦ Able to stick with it
well even though it didn’t
◦ All theoretical work

7
Improvements
◦ Add the system that flips pages
◦ Find materials sooner
◦ Calculate all the numbers (voltage, current,
torque, etc)
◦ Include a blueprint with more specifics
