TITLE
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan enacted Provincial Ordinance
___________________________________________________________________________”;

WHEREAS, the Specialized Higher Education Scholarship Program provides financial

assistance to poor but deserving scholars who wish to pursue the following degree programs:
Medicine, Law, Master’s Degree, and Doctorate Degree in State Universities and Colleges
within the Bicol Region;

WHEREAS, pursuant to said Ordinance, there shall be a Catanduanes Specialized Higher

Education Scholarship Board to be chaired by the Local Chief Executive who then shall appoint
the Vice Chairman and other five (5) Board Members;

WHEREAS, by virtue of Executive Order No. __, series of 2018, the Board shall have the
following functions: a. Determine the eligibility and fitness of applicant for the program based on
the criteria set forth under Ordinance No 008-2018; b. Review and examine the requirements
submitted by the applicants if the same conform to the requirements under this Ordinance; c. To
approve the application and determine the number of scholars of the program for every school
year;

WHEREAS, upon preliminary validation of the technical committee and a review and
deliberation of the Board in its meeting held on _________________ at the
_______________________ the following applicants passed the initial screening:

WHEREAS, said applicants shall undergo a panel interview scheduled on _______________ at

_______________________;

WHEREAS, a final list of scholars shall be released three (3) working days following the panel
interview;

NOW, THEREFORE, upon unanimous decision of the Board;

RESOLVED AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the said successful applicants shall be
interviewed on _________________ at the _______________.
