This is in response to your letter dated July 09, 2018 requesting for advance payment on the

upgrading of academic building two (2) storey twelve classrooms for CBMA. While is it true, that the
procurement law and its implementing rules allow advance payment not exceeding 15% of the total
contract price, the same is subject to the approval of the procuring entity, and with prior compliance of
the requirements listed hereunder:

1. Affidavit of Juridical Entity;


2. Surety Bond;
3. Pictures during and before (masonry works);
4. Performance bond;
5. Contract of agreement;
6. Post Qualification Report;
7. Resolution No. LSPUMC1-1801;
8. Checklist of Financial Envelop Requirements;
9. Bidder’s Tender Form.

The above documentary requirements must be submitted completely, and shall be reviewed
before approval.
